Spencer tries to give Carly the best birthday ever. He lets Gibby’s grandfather cut his hair and he makes Carly a gummy bear lamp. Everything thing goes bad after a gummy bear lamp Spencer made catches Carly’s room on fire. Spencer then finds out that his relative’s watch that Carly had was destroyed and was worth $82,000. Spencer convinces Carly to get a part-time job at the Groovy Smoothie while he, Freddie, Sam, and a working crew put together an amazing new room to Carly’s surprise.

After a power outage, everybody in the apartment building goes to the Shay’s apartment for Spencer’s Norwegian air conditioning, including Mrs. Benson, Lewbert, Chuck and Carly’s ex-boyfriend Griffin. Freddie meets a girl named Sabrina he talked to online and things become awkward when he finds out she is taller than he expected. Carly has a project she is working on for school and tries to make sure that no-one destroys it.

Carly, Sam and Freddie try to cheer up a lonely fan named Nora on her sweet-sixteen birthday, but they wind up as hostages in her house. Carly, Sam, and Freddie try everything they can to get out of the recording room, but fail. Then, they devise a coded SOS message and get it to Gibby, who’s doing home repairs for Spencer in exchange for setting up a camp in the loft.

Carly tries to prove there’s a Bigfoot creature, a legendary creature claimed to have been seen by many people out there in the Pacific Northwest, after bigfoot fever hits Seattle . Meanwhile, Spencer is trying to prove that a “Beavecoon“, a combination of a beaver’s head and a raccoons body, exists.

Note: This episode aired as part of Nickelodeon’s “Beyond Belief” lineup, featuring supernatural-themed episodes of Nickelodeon’s sitcoms, and also featured new episodes of Big Time Rush, Victorious and True Jackson, VP. Supervising producer Robin Weiner’s name is used to name the hot dog store that Sam wanted to visit, Robin’s Weiners. Ryan Seacrest and David Schwimmer were also mentioned. Also, in the beginning of the episode, Carly and Freddie are seen in costumes from the popular Michael Jackson music video “Thriller”.

Freddie learns that Sam is in juvie, and will not get out in time to do iCarly. Carly is determined not to cancel the show since her father will be watching, so she asks Spencer to fill in, which will prove difficult since he has a date that same night.

Absent: Jennette McCurdy as Sam Puckett. This is the first time that any of the iCarly cast members were absent in an episode. McCurdy was in the hospital during the week of taping.

Miranda Cosgrove and Jerry Trainor introduce bloopers and outtakes ever since the series began. These include the entire cast messing up their lines.

Carly, Sam and Freddie are shocked when they find out that they have to rehearse with Ginger Fox, a talentless, shrewish popstar. And things become a disaster when Ginger hasn’t had a rehearsal in 7 years in her age 26. Spencer begins dating Charlotte, Gibby’s mother, but has difficulty kissing her when he realizes she looks too much like Gibby, but Charlotte says Spencer looks too much like Carly. When they start kissing, Spencer sees Gibby’s face, and Charlotte sees Carly’s face.

A billionaire asks Carly, Sam, & Freddie to put on the first live web show from outer space. So, they’re able to undergo tests for space travel, competing against the web show called “Exercise Rocks.” While Carly gets Sam and Freddie to stop fighting, she ends up snapping, and breaking out of the simulation room. During Then, Spencer is bothered by a mysterious little girl who follows him through the whole apartment. And in the end, the little girl does the same to Carly, but only exits.
